A baby died living in Queens shelter

Police reported a baby, around one month old died at the public shelter called Sartoga Family Inn located on Rockaway Blvd in Springfield Gardens. The death was reported on Wednesday, January 3rd around 8am. The baby, a male was taken to Jamaica Hospital and medical examiner will report the cause of death. Ongoing investigation.
