8 year old shot and 10 year old almost kidnapped in Long Island

Around 3pm today, police reported a kidnapping attempt of a 10 year old in Elmont. This is on Langdon Street and Hunnewell Avenue.

Police are searching for two suspects in the area.

Last night around 1:30am, police were called to a home on Cedar Lane in Medford reporting of shots fired toward a home. An 8 year old was hit with the bullet inside the home.

Both incidents are under investigation
