4 million loves since 2021

According to the Dept of Homeland Security, as of 2021, around 4 million people have come into the country illegally from the southern open border. Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of the DHS quoted, "There are businesses around this country that are desperate for workers."

Mayorkas also quoted, "We removed, returned, and expelled 1.4 million people for not filing asylum last year while 530,000 gotaway."

As Title 42 ends tonight at midnight eastern time, the NYC Mayor is transporting migrants to Rockland and Orange Counties upstate despite being blocked by a judge in court. Meanwhile the American Civil Liberties Union NY Chapter has filed lawsuits against upstate counties from blocking migrants.

As for NYC, the Mayor suspended the right to shelter in some parts of the city forcing homeless and mentally ill to seek other locations. However the right to shelter for migrants is only for 30 days per location.

The Mayor also received notification that the Border Patrol chief has sent out a memo authorizing the release of migrants into the United States without court dates due to volumes when the Title 42 expires tonight. For this, the city is sending people out to check for locations to shelters for incoming migrants in the suburbs including Long Island.

Only one city, Chicago is now protesting against migrants from entering their counties already taking over shelters and hotels especially the south side.
