The lot on the corner of 78th Avenue and Austin Street which has parking and a playground for the local school will be demolished pending approval to make way for a residential tower.

The lot was sold for $20.9 million recenty to Rybak Development.

The company has filed permits to make the lot into 7 stories for a residential condo for 91 units with 123 parking spaces.

This is next to the Jackie Robinson Parkway near Queens Blvd where many developers are offering big bucks for single families on the block to sell to make way for towers.
