12 year old drove Range Rover from Richmond Hill to Staten Island

Police reports a 12 year old male child took his 7 year old sibling and drove off in a Range Rover. This is at 115 Street and 113 Avenue in Richmond Hill with the family vehicle. After alerting police with license plates, police were able to track down the vehicle with lo-jack passing the bridge to Staten Island. The vehicle was stopped at Shafter Avenue and Gibson Avenue in Staten Island. Ongoing investigation.

Update - Police reported the vehicle was last seen on surveillance in Staten Island gas station but did not stop since cops arrived after they left. They continued to NJ and then to Delaware. Local police stopped them at a rest stop and brought them to hospital for observation. They are heading back home. More details are pending.
